Monrovia– March 18, 2025: The House Majority Bloc haz announced an extension of the suspensions placed on Representatives Marvin Cole and Edward Papay Flomo for an additional 30 session days, despite expectations that their suspensions would end today.
The decision was reached through a motion raised by Grand Gedeh County District #1 Representative Jeremiah Sokan, which received majority endorsement from the plenary.

According to the House, the extension was prompted by the lawmakers’ violation of the suspension rules, as they were reportedly seen around the Capitol Building during the course of their suspension.
Meanwhile, the House also announced the lifting of the suspension imposed on Montserrado County District #15 Representative Abu Kamara.
At the same time, the House Majority Bloc reaffirmed the ongoing suspension of several other lawmakers, including embattled Speaker Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, Representatives Dixon Siebo, Yekeh Kolubah, Samuel Enders, Jerry Yogboh, Jacob Debee, Muka Kamara, Frank Saah Foko, Musa Bility, among others.
