Monrovia- March 12, 2025: On Yesterday, March 11, 2025, the House Majority Bloc made the decision to suspend Representative Yekeh Kolubah of Montserrado County District #10 for a period of 30 session days. This action was taken following a report from Representative James Kolleh of the House Committee on Rules, Order, and Administration, which outlined the reasons for the suspension. This move underscores the House’s dedication to accountability and upholding standards among its members. The suspension will not only impact the legislative proceedings but will also have consequences for Kolubah’s constituents during his time away.
The report recommended the suspension following a complaint by Representative Johnson Williams of River Gee County, who alleged that Representative Kolubah had behaved rudely towards the House leadership.

Most lawmakers supported the suspension, while Representatives Matthew Joe, Emmanuel Dahn, and Sumo Mulbah opposed it.
Additionally, a motion for reconsideration was filed by Lofa County District 4 Representative Gizzie Kollince. If this motion is debated and approved, the suspension decision could be overturned.
