London, UK- February 2025: The Liberia Permanent Mission to the International Maritime Organization, London, United Kingdom, will today, 27 February 2025, at 4:pm unveil its new and modern office facility to the global diplomatic missions in London and the rest of the world.
According to a dispatch released by the Permanent Mission this morning, the office facility is located in the One Avenue Group’s Southwark Bridge House along 57 Southwark Street, a unique, secure, pristine, and tidy environment.
The dispatch is quoted as saying that the state of the art facility provides a classic working environment and suitable amenities befitting of the image of the Liberia Permanent Mission, and Liberia as a leading maritime nation in particular. Besides the dedicated office spaces, the facility is fully loaded with modern conference rooms, meeting rooms, chatting rooms, waiting areas, coffee bar, mini reception square, high tech technology devices, and other goodies that set the building apart in no small way.




Liberia’s Permanent Representative to the IMO Ambassador Robert Wilmot Kpadeh says the unveiling of the manificent facility comes at a pivotal time with Liberia potentially seeking re-election to ‘Category ‘A’ of the IMO Council at elections during the 34th Assembly session in December this year.
He stated that the ambiance and facilities within the new office are suitable for hosting planned mini-diplomatic events and formal receptions for various regional groupings and member states at the IMO, which are particularly crucial to the campaign for Liberia’s significant and historic relection bid to Council.
“The unveiling of this topnotch office facility doesn’t only show that we are profoundly ready to effectively campaign for Liberia’s re-election to Council, it also shows that Liberia is appropriately equating and conducting itself as a global maritime giant and leader”, Ambassador Kpadeh stated, adding, “we are ready for business and to do so in a legendary way that compels to none other maritime nation the world over”.
Ambassador Kpadeh expresses his thanks and appreciation to the Commissioner and CEO of the Liberia Maritime Authority (LiMA), Cllr. Neto Zarzar Lighe for his overwhelming support towards the realization of obtaining such a superior office facility for the Liberia Permanent Mission to London, describing the effort of the Commissioner as productive and progressive. He also praised the LiMA Virginia, Washington office led by Deputy Commissioner of Finance Emmanuel Nuku Reeves for their unyielding support towards the acquisition of the new and modern office facility.
The dispatch concluded as saying that the strategic location of the new office which is within a 10 minute’s drive from the Headquarter of the IMO with whom it shares the same Post Code, SE1 makes commuting to and from the IMO during meetings easy and convenient. The famous London Bridge Station is just a 5 minute’s walk away from the office. With the new office ready for business, the Permanent Mission’s Team is inspired and motivated to campaign vigorously for Liberia’s re-election to IMO Council and ensure effective representation at IMO meetings.
