Ganta, Nimba County – President Joseph Boakai has honored the late Senator Prince Yormie Johnson, recognizing his evolution from a wartime figure to an advocate for peace and reconciliation. “Senator Johnson will always be remembered in Liberia’s history,” President Boakai stated. “He possessed a unique talent for bringing people together, establishing himself as a significant influence in Nimba and beyond. Although his past is linked to some of our country’s most painful moments, he ultimately became a leader who championed reconciliation.”
