Monrovia- September 6, 2023: Ahead of the launch of official campaign activities by political parties, duly accredited by the National Elections Commission, the Joint Security cautions all parties and supporters to remain tolerant and desist from infiltrating and interfering with campaign rallies of rival parties.
The Joint Security will not hesitate to arrest, investigate, and forward to court for prosecution anyone who instigates chaos or attempts to undermine the peace and stability of the electoral process.
All political parties and supporters are further urged to submit their campaign schedules to the Joint Security, which will ensure effective security presence for the smooth and peaceful conduct of their campaign rallies.

Up to present, the Joint Security has yet to receive the campaign schedules of all the parties.
The Joint Security notes the commitment made by heads of political parties to uphold the Farmington Declaration, which calls for respect for the rule of law and peaceful elections.
The Joint Security will do its best to ensure a peaceful environment, through the deployment of Joint Security officers at the campaign rallies of all parties.
All must stay clear of rival parties’ campaign rallies or risk facing the full weight of the law.
