The National Hajj Committee of Liberia (NHCL) which was established in keeping with precedence by the Government of Liberia (GOL) to coordinate the activities leading to the hajj, and as well provide direction for the pilgrims until their return to the country, has announced the commencement of registration for individuals wanting to go for this year’s pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
According to a release, signed by the committee’s Chairman, Lusine Bility, the official cost of this year’s Hajj (Pilgrimage) stands at US$6,500 (six thousand five hundred United States dollars) per pilgrim.

“In order to ensure proper coordination, rules and orderliness, we request that all Hajj agencies within the Republic of Liberia contact the secretary of the Committee via cell phone numbers 0776-517-915 or 0888-517-915 for accreditation by the National Hajj Committee of Liberia—2022 (NHCL),” the release noted
According to the release, “All Hajj Agencies within Liberia must deposit US$200 into the account of the National Hajj Committee of Liberia—2022 (NHCL) at the International Bank (IB), between 11th & 12th streets, Sinkor; ensure that it is free from all kinds of bad and/or illegal financial history in Liberia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; deposit all payments of pilgrims under their control in a timely manner, as time is of the essence, and to avoid delay; and pilgrims will be enrolled on a ‘first come first serve basis’ and as per the official listing of the NHCL, which will be generated in accordance with the banking records of IB.”
