Monrovia- April 6, 2022: The Management of the Liberian Petroleum Refining Company has changed with immediate effect the status of over three hundred (300) contractors to full employment.

Breaking the news of the change in status in a meeting at the Product Storage Terminal on Wednesday, April 6 2022 on the Bushrod Island, Monrovia, Madam Marie Urey Coleman, Managing Director of LPRC said the decision was drawn from the government of Liberia’s policy of empowering its citizens by providing employment opportunities as a way of improving their living standard.

Those contractors who were employed today are people that have served the company for 5 to 20 years.
She urged all employees to take their jobs serious and be more proactive.
The pronouncement was marked by jubilations and chanting of slogans such as “Marie Go Marie Come Marie gets Moral Aaaay” in support of the management of LPRC and the government of Liberia.
