Monrovia- April 4, 2022: Liberian National Police(LNP) deputy inspector for crime service Col. Prince B. Mulbah has warned resistant political parties in the country, to desist from politicizing Police Criminal Investigation.
According to him, statistic shows that even in the great United States of America, as sophisticated as they are, there are over thousands of unsolved criminal cases therefore people who continually post misleading information to politicized police investigation should cease.

In a statement released over the weekend at MICAT’s head office on Capitol Hill backpass. The deputy inspector general assumes that if the entire Weah Government is Change today and Angels are imported from Heaven to protect the country’s internal national security, it will still not change anything.
therefore he underscores the need that community resident in the country works with the police to combat crime.
” Assuming that you changed the Weah Government today and import angels from Heaven to serve your internal national security issue as police officers. People will still stress unsolved cases in the country. “yes! this is the police that you have built over the past years. Learn to trust them.” He noted.
Addressing the recent statement made by LNP spokesman Moses Carter. the deputy inspector for crime service disclose that by him announcing that the corridor inquest is yet to establish fouled play, Does not in any way root out The possibility that foul play must have occurred. “criminal investigations are in stages” he noted
“When someone is found dead, the homicide division of the LNP will dispatch a team to assess the situation and that’s the beginning of our investigation. When that is done the lifeless or unresponsive body of the victim will be transferred in an ambulance to a medical facility.”
For the second face of the investigation, he says a Coroner Team will come to conduct a Coroner inquest on the victim. adding that corridor inquest is not controlled by the police, but it’s straightly under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice.
” that is why when it’s been conducted it comprises of people of civil society organizations, family representatives, medical practitioners, human rights actors to reach the number of most 15 persons.
Following the incident he pointed out that people asserted that Princess Cooper was found in a pool of blood. ” but where did the blood come from, is it that her nick was slashed off, the chap in the middle of the face or hit with a blunt object, that is the concern.”
However, he Continues that the coroner’s inquest proves to them that there was no opening on the body of Princess, besides the noise and mouth.
“The coroner inquest shows that on the piner ear and the face there was a script so the amount of blood we saw, did not come from any part of her body but her nose and mouth.”
Therefore, when their official spoke person (Moses Carter) announces that the corridor inquest is yet to establish fouled play, it Does not in any way root out The possibility that foul play must have occurred.
“This is why in the presence of the investigation we recommended to the ministry of Justice to perform an autopsy to know what obtained within her body.”
With a sense of humor, he revealed that it has been trending on other social media and some local newspapers in the country concerning princesses’ friend wallets.
“social media and some local newspapers published that the princess’s friend Wallet has been arrested by police while making her way to Ghana, this is false and misleading.” Adding that Everyone who they have spoken to is not flight risk. Meaning they are not people who quote on quote have been proven to be perpetrators of crime, for which they must escape from them.”
Col. Prince B. Mulbah asserts that these people are under LNP full custody and they’ve been given all dull cutting.” their Mariners rights have been protected until otherwise proven guilty.
” as we speak autopsy on the remains of Princess cooper and Melvin Tobah has begun since this morning and in due course,e they will be back to release the report.
As part of their job, Mr. Mulbah narrates that they Are working alone with a uniform police operation that is headed by 102.
102 is the deputy inspector general for police in uniform operation and together they have decided to have a regular night patrol in and around Monrovia.
“The regurious night patrols are a major concern of the LNP and they have also embarked on community policing as one of our strategies.”
Meanwhile, Speaking on the ongoing investigation involving the death of Princess Cooper, M. Mulbah announces that before LNP can derive at declaring that someone was murdered, they must have conducted a careful and tougher criminal forensic deaths investigation and the process is ongoing.”
