President Weah donates vehicles and motorbikes to traditional leaders of the 15 counties

Paynesville, January 25, 2022- President George Manneh Weah has donated fleet of cars and motorbikes to traditional leaders from the 15 counties.

The donation was made on Tuesday at the SKD stadium. According to the President, the donation became necessary after his tour of the counties in 2021.
He said the donation of vehicles and motorbikes are in line with his government PAPD policy that seeks to give power to the people.
“After I travel to the counties, I saw the challenges our traditional leaders are going through in order to work for us and our people ” the president said.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the traditional leaders, honorable Varney A. Sirleaf, Minister of Internal Affairs thanked the president for his steadfastness.
“Your son and my brother, H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah is a God send leader we all should celebrate ” the Minister noted.

Minister Sirleaf then admonished the chiefs and traditional leaders to continue to work for peace in their respective counties.
He called on them to use the vehicles and bikes for the intended purpose.

Each of the 15 counties received two (2) 4×4 cabin pickups (1) Toyota jeep for ambulance and 10 tvs motorbikes in Monrovia.
