Monrovia- January 17, 2022: in an efforts to strengthen the Rural Teacher Training Institutes, the Ministry of Education has provided three (3) pickups to the three (3) Rural Teacher Training Institutes (RTTI). These vehicles will be used for the effective operations at the various RTTIs.

Institutions benefiting from the provision includes: Zorzor Rural Teacher Training Institute ( ZRTTI) ; Kakata Rural Teacher Training Institute (KRTTI) and Webbo Rural Teacher Training Institute (WRTTI).

The funding was provided by the Global Partnership for Education through the Liberia Getting To Best In Education Project (G2B).

During the brief turning over ceremony held today; Monday January 17;2022 at the Ministerial Complex; the Minister of Education; Prof.Dr. D. Ansu Sonii, St., upon receiving the keys for the vehicles cautioned Directors of the various RTTIs to appropriately use the provided vehicles purposefully.

Meanwhile; the World Bank Education portfolio Coordinator; Mr. Joe Gbasakollie assured the Ministry of Education massive support in education this year from the World Bank through the GPE Project.

Henceforth; the Directors of the Rural Teacher Training Institutes overwhelmingly expressed gratitude and appreciation on behalf of their institutions to the Ministry for the timely and wise intervention. All three Directors promised their relentless commitment to the Ministry and GPE assured that all policies; regulations and guidelines Will be fully implemented.
