Gov’t To begin Pfizer vaccine rollout for school-going kids 12-18 years; as it announces the arrival of 320, 580 doses of the Pfizer vaccine

Monrovia- January 11, 2022: The government of Liberia, with support from the American people has received a total of 320,580 doses of the Pfizer vaccine for administration in Liberia, for ages 12-above with the Pfizer vaccine for full protection against COVID-19.

Alongside this, the EPI Division and the Montserrado county health team have begun rollout of the Pfizer vaccine at two initial points in Montserrado county.

Meanwhile, Pfizer vaccine rollout at all schools targeting school going kids 12-18 years old will commence January 17, 2022, and subsequently February 2022 to the rest of the counties. For more information on this, call 4455
