Monrovia- December 1, 2021: Grand Kru County District 1, Representative Nathaniel N. Bahway Sr, has disclosed that the county will shortly benefit from Jobs opportunities in the county.

He said the job opportunities will come through the passage of three bills in the lower house submitted by him.

Hon. Bahway said the bills are an act to create Garraway to Genoyah, Piddy, and Nyanbo Chiefdom, something which he said will provide appointed government jobs for citizens across the county.

According to Hon. Bahway the three drafted resolutions were presented to the special committee on judiciary and Internal affairs for local acts creations, for verification; which was turned over to the plenary and later passed.

He pointed out that the bills await Senate for concurrence and the approval of the President of the Republic of Liberia Dr. George M. Weah

Hon. Bahway further mentioned that the creation of these Chiefdoms will provide employment for several person in locals government positions, ranging from Clam chief, Paramount Chief, Township Commission, Town Chiefs among others.

At the same Hon. Bahway figured out that government needs to pass these bills to stop Sexual abuse, violence, Ritualistic acts, Criminal activities among others, through the operation of local government officials when assigned.

Grand Kru County is a county in the southeastern partof Liberia that is highly under due to bad roads and lack of job opportunities for residents. It is one of the 15 counties that comprises the first-level of administrative division in the nation. It has eighteen districts and it was founded in 1984, its capital is Barclayville.

In a related development, the Grand Kru county Representative District 1, has lauded the efforts of Hon. Speaker Dr. Bhofal Chamber for his outstanding participation in making show Grand Kru district one benefits from an everlasting jobs opportunity in the Weah lead government.

District one Representative Hon. Nathaniel N. Bahway Sr further extended a high level of gratitude to members of Grand Kru County Caucus chairperson for the cooperation in the leadership, led by Honorable duty speaker Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa of District #2 Grand kru county and others.

Nevertheless, He noted the vision of creating these draft resolutions came as a result of the current population now, in those mentioned communities, and needs the attention of government, both securities services, human capacity development, and social for the people of Trehn Statutory District Grand Kru County.

Additionally, Honorable Zoe Bahway Sr had made an establishment of ($14, 000LD) fourteen thousand Liberian Dollar to Garraway Women residing in Monrovia leadership, in present of Madam Elizabeth Mooney in fulfillment of a fund fundraising program meant to contract a modern Guest House in Grand Kru district # one.

According to Him the planned for the guest house construction which was also part of his vision for sons and daughters who are abroad and made want to visit their parents anytime during the festival season.

He committed himself to any infastranture development in making Grand Kru County a place like home.

At the same time, Garraway Women chairperson in Monrovia Madam Elizabeth Mooney extended thanks to Representative Bahway for his kind gesture, for an initial contribution of ($14,000LD)

She further said this is a clear manifestation of working together in leadership for the betterment of Grand Kru County.

Madam Mooney noted the project pending as a limestone for the Trehn Statutory District, Grand Kru County when completed.
