Monrovia-October 25, 2021: Ahead of Sierra Leone general election, Sierra Leonean Vice president has called on Sierra Leoneans residing in Liberia to return home. The vice president is in Liberia with a high power delegate that includes the Minister of Internal Affairs, Minister of Youth, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, Sacrey embassy, Locals government officials and among others.

Speaking during a program organized for the delegation, Mr. Heixon J. Adbul general chairperson for Refugees & Local Integration welcomed Vice President his Excellency Dr Mohamed J. Jalloh his intact who read a positional statements that he also extend a high level of gratitude to UNHCR & government of Liberia for the tireless efforts from A.D 1991 to now

At the same time, Chairperson for local integration told Vice President Dr Mohamed J. Jalloh he noted one thousand three hundreds & Sixty Nine (1364) families heads are still looking up to both Sierra Leone government and the government of Liberia for repartitions and nationalization through Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) in collaboration with LRRRC, & UNHCR Refugees.

Mr Adbul further said the Sierra Leonean government should see reason to build housing Units for Sierra Leoneans in Liberia, with specific reference of those local integrated Sierra Leonean Refugees residing in Blamacy Community, Montserrado, Cesto Bomi, and Tane Grand Capt. Mount Counties respectively.

The spokesperson for Refugees and Welfare Committee of Sierra Leonean residing in Liberia, Mr. Adbul noted the constance harassment as it relates to proper documentations of Sierra Leonean while on a daily activities for food, business, jobs and others.

He calls on  the government of Liberia to revisit or review decisions taken against Refugees, concluded asking his Excellency Dr Mohamed J. Jalloh to contribute to the school system of VOA Camp.

Additionally VOA (1,) Chair lady Patricia Dakillay extended thanks for attendance of the Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone the visit, something which she said it’s first of it kind more than 14 years ago.

Speaking at the occasion his Excellency Dr. Mohamed J. Jalloh laments that he was sent by President of Sierra Leone Dr. Julius Maada Bio to figure out what affecting Sierra Leonean Refugees in Liberia.

VP Jolloh said that there has been several discussion with Sierra Leone People Party (SLP), Sierra Leonean Community and finally listening to the Leadership of the Reselletment of Sierra Leonean Welfare in Liberia on issues affecting Refugees.

Nevertheless VP told cross reporters that he’s going to meet the government of Liberia particularly his Excellency Dr. George M. Weah to address the concerns of Sierra Leonean in Liberia

He pointed out the government of Sierra Leone is going to send a special team under the banner National Commission for Social Actions.
Certainly Dr. J. Jalloh encouraged Sierra Leonean to turned out in their numbers for the general presidential election of Sierra Leone, for the second term in 2023 September he told Sierra Leonean of also getting ready to be repatriated to their Country.

Main while the Vice President said the government is going to start a new Microcredit Loans for Sierra Leonean Women through the Ambassy for the most valurable women, Wisdoms and others.

Additionally His Excellency Dr. Mohamed J. Jalloh Vice President and Vice Standard Bearer of Sierra Leone People Party made a Cash donation of Two Hundreds & fifty thousands Liberian Dollar (2,250,000LD) for the improvement of the School system and promised his continue contributions in the academy of the Refugees School in Liberia.
