Monrovia- October 24, 2021: Liberia Entertainment Arts & Culture has concluded its 2021 National submit in Monrovia.

Speaking at the program on Friday October 22, at Destiny Entertainment Club, the keynote speaker for the summit, former Maryland county Senator, John A Ballout pointed out that the first actor in the industry is the role of the government before it can be realized, He furthermore said government should be able to upgrades the industry to an International standard.

Former Senator Ballout said dream of young Talented Liberian can only be achieved by the government of Liberia through the ministry of Youths and Sports in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Culture and Turiousm and others meaningful instutions to butress the efforts of every Star in the Country.

At the same time, former Senator Ballout said that actors and actresses themselves needs to be educated to mets world standard.

According to him, seventy five percent of Liberia population are young people, and government needs to vanture into vocational training institutions and rehabilitation centers.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Ballout made a disclosure of a big plans coming up for both actors and actresses, comedians among others, called the National instutute of performing Arts. It’s a project pending that will be pass through legislations and will be funded by National budget.

He further told news men that no organizations or institutions will invests into a business without an income.

Moreover he lament that the industry needs a system called protection of intellectual property which will set up a digital system that will help protect and secure people’s investments.

With an outstanding recommendations to movie stars Senator Ballout calling all stars to vanture into the intellectuall properties office of Liberia so that they can benefit a lot in their careers

Nevertheless President of the Movie Union of Liberia Mr. Eddie Gabsion said it’s challenging being a President without pay, but however holds great responsibility to serve his Country at the level of Lollywood.

He articulated the the submit was not for generating funds nor met for saving but rather then, way forward and save keeping of records in the industry.

President Gabsion figure out that Liberia is among those Countries that are not going forward in the entertaining world and calling on every Liberian artists to register their business through the Liberia intellectuall properties office to gain more benefits from this movement to the unborn generations to come.

Mr Eddie Gabsion President of the Movie Union Of Liberia said he’s going to use the three branches of government Legislative, Executive and Judicial branch to improve the system.

In addition He said there’s a reason to gather support or sponsorship from the Ministry of information Culture and Turiousm to support actors and actresses across Liberia.

Lollywood president finally concluded On the subject of President of the Republic of Liberia Excellency George M.Weah who is a member of the Entertainment industry of Liberia but have nothing to show in his membership as President.

Also speaking the National Country Director for Movie Union Of Liberia Mr. W. Lawrence Yeace said that he’s calling on government agencies for a National Theater center.

also speaking the Country director informed Mr. Yeace said that it’s on unacceptable for Movie Union and Musician Unions to Rent in the Country when it same to be a responsibility of government, He noted a concern that the Culture Ambassador space it’s not only destinated to only Julie Endie that there are others Liberian who want to served said post. Taking into consideration and asking government to allocate budget for operations and Land to built entertainment village.

Lastly Mr. Yeace said all artists should get off Drugs and should not be under the influence of drugs before performing on stage.
