Monrovia-September 22, 2021: The Executive Chairperson of the Liberia Anti-corruption Commission, Cllr. Edwin Kla Martin has had his first engagement with the New Swedish Ambassador to Liberia, Amb. Urban Sjostrom.

The Discussion was focus on the work of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission under the Leadership of Cllr Edwin Kla Martin.

During the discussion, the LACC Boss renewed his commitment to stamp out Corruption from the Liberian Society.

He said the Commission is currently tackling seventy-five (75) Audit Reports from the GAC and it’s also handling Mega cases in Corruption.

The Chairperson calls for an International Partnership in the fight against Corruption, especially for the Passage of enabling Legislation.

For his part ,The New Swedish Ambassador to Liberia, Urban Sjostrom promised his government support in the fight against Corruption.

He said Sweden remain a strong Partner to Liberia in its Development Drive.
