Ellen Corkrum Fails For The Fourth Times, To Provide Evidence Against Cllr. Cephus

Monrovia- September 14, 2021: Last night, the Spoon Talk was interesting when Solicitor General, Cllr. Sayma Serenius Cephus, and the former Managing Director of the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA), Ellen Corkrum, appeared on the show and expressed their views on the ritualistic allegation that has been in the media for the past one week.

Many Liberians who tuned their radio to the show thought they would hear something with evidence from madam Corkrum but she failed to display any evidence, being audio recording or photograph, against Cllr. Cephus, in order to indict him for, at least, one of the allegations she is levying against him.
When asked about the Allegation against him by Corkrum, Cllr. Cephus categorically denied all allegations levied against him, describing the allegations as outrageous and baseless.

Ellen Corkrum and SG Cephus

When asked about the Allegation against him by Corkrum, Cllr. Cephus categorically denied all allegations levied against him, describing the allegations as outrageous and baseless.

Cllr. Cephus challenged the former LAA Director to provide any piece of evidence as it relates to extorting money from her or discussing anything relative to ritualistic killings.

The Solicitor General told the public that madam Corkrum only wish is that President George M. Weah removes him from the position of Solicitor General.

But reacting to the SG assertion during the show, Corkrum further maintained that Cllr. Cephus is an extortionist and a ritualist. However, Madam Corkrum  failed to provide evidence for the fourth times after she failed to do so on three other radio stations in Monrovia.

At the same time, the former LAA Director who comments on the show was comical against the SG , accused  him of using his Solicitor General position to extort money from people and asked them to resign or be suspended in order for him to clear their name.

Reacting further to allegation, Cllr. Cephus said, the only individual in the whole world who knows about his “ritualistic” habit is Corkrum; as such, she should come up with all or any piece of evidence linking him to her allegations, as the burden of proof lies on the accuser according to the Liberian jurisprudence.

According to him, the allegation that he has taken the photo of the Minister of Justice, Cllr. Frank Musah Dean, to a witch doctor only puts him in an embarrassing situation, because anytime the Minister observed a headache or any form of sickness he would have the thought that it is due to the witch doctor’s ritual performance, and that Cephus is the one behind it.

He also stated that Corkrum is calling on President Weah, whom she accused of also being a ritualist, to dismiss him from his position, which he sees as sheer hypocrisy. He said all Corkrum has against him is the audio recording in which she accused Ofori Diah of her that he (Cephus) had been to a witch doctor and sacrificed three virgin girls to obtain his Solicitor General position, which he refuted in the same telephone conversation and requested that she gives him Diah’s phone number to confront him about the allegation.

The Talk Show panelists exerted all effort to have Corkrum present evidence of their conversations or interactions, but she could not, claiming that she has none, and that she is an African and at a point in her life she got herself involved into traditional rituals for her aggrandizement.
