Monrovia-August 18, 2021: The Liberia National Police says it has begun an immediate investigation into the alleged explosion which occurred at the Sethi Trading Company in the Gardnersville Community.
On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 5: 55AM, an explosion occured at the steel factory belonging to the Sethi Trading Company in the Chicken Soup Factory, Gardnersville.

According to the LNP, its Police preliminary investigation has so far established that the incident occured in the furnace department by a magnetic cream that transports metals to the oven.
It was also established that one of the cables of the magnetic cream cut which caused the explosion of the metal pot thereby affecting seven of its employees,
4 Liberians and 3 Indians) Nationals were victimized.
Those affected are: Amos Sami, Theo Tiklon, Sumo Kessellie and Nathaniel Fasu. Others are
Hosla Prasal, Achylal Sarooj and Harishcha Ndosahni (All adults).
Meanwhile, the critically affected victims were immediately rushed to the John F. Kennedy medical Hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
Investigation continues, the LNP stated.
