LPRC Buttresses Government Effort In The Fight Against COVID-19; donates fuel to hospitals across Liberia

Monrovia-July 15, 2021: In an effort to buttress government fight against COVID-19, LPRC donates fuel to hospitals across Liberia.

The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) made a donation of Nine Thousand Gallons (9,000) of diesel fuel to Hospitals across the Country to help in the fight against the deadly COVID-19 virus as part of its social Cooperate responsibility.

Making the donation on behalf of the company, LPRC Managing Director Mrs. Marie Urey Coleman commended Health workers across the country for the many sacrifices they are making in these critical times of our country and also admonished Liberians to observe all COVID-19 Protocols as prescribed by Health Authorities. She said the donation is LPRC way of identifying with Health institutions. “we are all in this fight together, and we must do everything humanly possible to defeat this menace”

Making remarks, Dr. Willimena Gibson Administrator of the Redemption Hospital thanked the LPRC Management for the judicious donation and assured Management that the fuel will be used for it intended purpose.

Also speaking, Mr. Adrian K. Brown administrator of the Star Base Treatment Center thanked the Managing Director for her farsightedness in providing these petroleum products for the smooth operation of our various Health facilities.

Those Health institutions that received the donations were, Star Base Treatment Center, John F. Kennedy Medical Center, ELWA Hospital, St. Joseph Catholic, Redemption Hospital, The 14 Military Hospital, Phebe Hospital (Bong County) Government Hospital (Bomi County), C.H Rennie Hospital, Government Hospital (Grand Bassa County), Jackson F. Doe Hospital and E&J Hospital Nimba County.

It can be recall in 2014 during the crisis of the EBOLA virus, LPRC was also involved with similar gesture to various Health Centers around the country.
