Criminal Court C Discharges Surety Bond Of Chief Of Protocols Father, Tamba Bundo

Monrovia-July 15, 2021: Criminal Court C. Judge Peter W. Gbeneweleh has discharged Chief of protocols, Nora Finda Bundo father Elijah Tamba Bundo Surety Bond filed years ago in favor of defendant Moulton Nyan.


According to court records, counsels of Tamba Bundo in a last sitting of the 9th day of July 2021, made an appeal to the Honorable court to allow him, three days to produce the living body of defendant Moulton Nyan who were not seen for the long period of time when Mr. Bundo filed a criminal appearance bond in his favor for a said Theft of Property case belong to Mohammed Kannedh.

The court granted Tamba Elijah Bundo appeal through his legal counsels and the court has now notified that defendant Nyan is within the bailiwick of the Honorable Court.

Meanwhile, Judge Gbeneweleh court records established that Mr. Bundo Surety Bond for proffered property valuation criminal appearance bond is hereby discharged from the obligation of his Surety-ship since his bond has been set aside by the court on ground that the defendant Nyan has breached the condition of the said bond.

He said Tamba Bundo is no longer a surety of the defendant Nyan in the case.
Judge Gbeneweleh also purged surety to Mr. Bundo contempt and set aside a bond in favor of the defendant Nyan.

At the same time the court granted defense counsels of defendant Nyan another valid criminal appearance bond for 72 hours in consistent with section 63.9 of the civil procedure law.
But failure on his legal Cllr. Joseph Gibson to produce him before court when needed or the clerk of the court will be order to prepare a commitment place in the hands of the sheriff to detain him in common jail of Montserrado County until his living body is produce before court.
