Monrovia- June 24, 2021: The Ministry of Education in consultation with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) – Liberia Office, has revised the previous National Examination schedules for the upcoming National Exams.

According to the ministry, the revised Examination schedules are as follow:

1. Benchmark Assessment for Grade 3 is scheduled for July 12, 2021;
2. Liberia Primary School Certificate Examination (LPSCE) Grade 6 begins July 13 and ends on July 14, 2021;
3. Liberia Junior High School Certificate Examination (LJHSCE) Grade 9 begins July 15 and ends on July 16,2021;
4. West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) Grade 12 begins September 10 and ends on September 30,2021.
5. Distribution of identification numbers to these categories of grades will begin on Thursday, July 1, 2021.

Meanwhile, the Ministry urges all Primary, Junior and Senior High Schools across the Country to follow the new revised schedules for the successful and timely implementation.

Amid the outbreak of the new wave of the corona virus disease in the Country, the Ministry also, calls on all community, private, and Faith-based schools and the Public to adhere to the preventive measures prescribed by the Ministry of Health and the National Public Health Institute (HPHIL) to curtail further spread of the virus.
