Executive mansion Clarifies Accident On RIA; says Police Vehicle Involved  In Accident was not assigned to the Presidential Detail

Monrovia- June 19, 2021: The Executive mansion says reports making rounds on social and some mainstream media about the involvement of President’s convoy in an accident on the Robertsfield Highway are completely false and misleading.

In a release quoting the Executive mansion states the fact of the matter is that Presidential Convoy did come across an accident that had already occurred long before it had reached the scene between a regular Police Patrol Vehicle that is not assigned to the Presidential Detail and a Tricycle locally referred to as Kehkeh.

“As concerning as the accident was, the Medical Team assigned to the Presidential Convoy then stopped to rendered medical assistance to the injured passengers of the Kehkeh.” The release stated.

The presidency rejected the news by saying it is a diaboical lie being spread by wicked elements that the President’s Convoy was involved in the accident.

At the same time, the Executive Protective Services  says it wants to make it absolutely clear that it takes seriously the security of road users coming in contact with the Presidential Convoy and that its chauffeurs are highly trained.
