Monrovia- June 10, 2021: The Liberia National Police, in an intense fire exchange has gunned down another notorious armed robber identified as Jowee Bryant, alias, Farari.
According to the LNP, early Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 12:48 AM, its Zone 9 officers received a phone call from residents of Bassa Town Community, Paynesville, 72nd of an armed robbery incident.
A team from the LNP immediately responded on the scene and came under immense gun fire with the alleged robbers.
The LNP said that, verbal commands were given to have them drop their weapons but to no avail. During the exchange, Farari was hit while his accomplices escaped.
Meanwhile, his body was taken to the John F. Kennedy hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors on duty.
Farari was a feared armed robber who victimized several residents of the Bassa Town Community, 72nd Community, Goba Chop Community, Neezoe, and Rehab Community. Notable amongst those victimized were members of the Fula business community.

The body of Farari has been deposited at the John F. Kennedy Mortuary for preservation.
The LNP warns that it will not hesitate to use proportional force against anyone or group of gangs who will open fire on responding officers.
