Monrovia-Liberia-May 27,2021: In an effort to enhance and improve the quality of teaching and learning process through a continuous and standardized learning platform across the country, the Ministry of Education has received a modern Recording studio to be used for radio and television, providing non-stop instructions in Curriculum-based learning in Early Childhood, Basic and Secondary levels.

The studio, which was constructed by, the Beta Broadcast and Media Services, with funding from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), through UNICEF, is intended to enhance the quality and Continuous Learning Across the Country.
During the turning over program held at the Ministerial complex, Congo town,on the ground floor of the Ministry, the Minister of Education, Prof. Dr. D. Ansu Sonii, Sr., expressed excitement over the opening of the institution’s modern recording studio as he lauded GPE, USAID and UNICEF for their relentless and tireless support given for the advencement of quality Education across the Country.
Meanwhile, representing the National Legislature at the program, the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives now Senator of Bong County, Hon. Prince K. Moye accompanied by Representative Mayamu Fofana, of Lofa County and Chair of the House Standing Committee on Education, indeed appreciated the diverse platforms.
Senator Moye expressed that the Legislature Will closely work with the Ministry of Education to appropriate funds through the necessary budgetary allotments to fast track essential programs to move the education Sector forward.
At the same time, both special Representatives from UNICEF and USAID applauded the Ministry for instituting such a wonderful and unique education intaitive intended to help students’catchup with their lessons
Additionally, they both promised to work with the Ministry to support the growth and development of the Liberia Education Sector.
