Speaking to our reporter on the scene, the group Spokesman Wilson McDoe Said they signed a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government to have their salary paid from the 30th of March to April 16, 2021.

He added that due to the government alleged failure to pay them their salary it got them angry to stage protest in Monrovia on Monday May24, 2021, before Finance Ministry to draw government attention to pay them.

But Wilson said while in their peaceful protest exercise was ongoing, the Liberia Support Unit (PSU) came and allegedly beat few of their member, arrested them and placed them in jail at the Liberia National Police Headquarters without reason.
