The Liberia National Police has charged and forwarded Cyber-Ed Christian School of Excellence alleged shooting defendant Jovanus O. Turay and his biological mother Josia Ma- Watta Saah to the Monrovia City Court in connection with the alleged recent murder of student Precious Ireland.

Police investigation established that Liberia United State based(USA) popular Movies Actor Syluanus Turay son Jovanus Turay age sixteen( 16) a resident of Paynesville SKD Boulevard Community allegedly took away nine(9mm) pistol Taurus G2C live round weapon from his mother bed room on April 13, 2021 to Cyber – Ed Christian School of Excellence Campus located at Sophie Community, Congo Town.
Liberia Police investigation finding revealed that early in the morning on April 13, 2021 at the hours of seven(7) am student of the institution were having breakfast and defendant Jovanus asked his colleagues Matthew Gonkerwon Jr. to enter number 701 classroom to meet the deceased Precious Ireland in the French classroom.
Upon their arrival in the classroom , the late Precious greeted the both of them and the defendant Turay later took out firearm pistol from his bed for all of them to play with it in the classroom.
Police investigation established that while in the classroom, defendant Jovanus later collected the firearm and placed it on his right side where the deceased Precious and Matthew were listening to music from his iPad through one ear piece .
However, Police investigation further established that the deceased Precious immediately took out the ear piece and instructed the defendant to remove the firearm from his side so that it will not hurt or damage him because it was a real fun.
But suspect Jovanus did not listen to the deceased Ireland for the the removal of the firearm from his side and few hour later the firearm dropped from his side and discharged on the deceased neck and shoulder which led to her untimely death on arrival( DOA) at SOS Medical Clinic in Congo Town Monrovia.
Therefore in view of the foregoing facts established by LNP and Jovanus were charged with the crime Negligent Homicide in violation of Chapter 17 section 14.3 , Chapter 14 section 14.23 and Chapter 17 section 17.11 revised penal code of the Republic of Liberia for Recklessly discharging the firearm on the deceased.
While, his biological mother Josia Ma- Watta Saah were charged with the crime in violation of Chapter 14 section 14.23 and Chapter 17section 17.11 of the revised penal code of the Republic of Liberia for Recklessly Endangering another person and possession of sale objects for lethal used.
The both defendants were arranged and forwarded to the Monrovia City Court in Monrovia for further trial proceeding.
