War And Economic Crimes Court Is On It’s Way To Liberia- Cllr Tiawon Gongloe

The President of the Liberia National Bar Association, Cllr. Tiawon Gongloe says all now set for the establishment of the much talked about war and economic crimes court in Liberia

Cllr. Gongloe making the disclosure to reporters on Monday said all is now set for the establishment of the much talked about war and economic crimes court in Liberia.

According to Cllr. Gongloe, the establishment of the court follows a meeting with the United States Ambassador in Monrovia and some high level delegations from USAID and the United Nations Country Representative to Liberia.

He said the only way the issue of people committing crimes against humanity will come to an end is to ensure people who committed heinous and economic crimes face the law.

Commenting on the threats against Liberia’s Chief Justice, Francis Korkpor, Cllr. Gongloe condemned the act terming it as unfair.
