UL SETS APRIL 30, 2021 AS DEADLINE FOR STUDENTS TO COMPLETE PAYMENT OF THEIR TUITION AND FREES OR BE DROPPED

Monrovia-April 21, 2021: The University of Liberia has set April 30, 2021 as the deadline for all students to complete payment of tuition and fees at the University.
According to the President of the University of Liberia Dr. Julus Nelson, registration at the state run University started on February 1, 2021 and the 90 days period will end on April 30, 2021.

Addressing a News conference Wednesday, the UL president noted that students who will not compiled with the school guild line will be dropped from the UL E-potter system and will not also be considered as current students of the University for this semester effect May 1, 2021.

He indicated that the University needs all funds to continue its faculty development initiative, the expansion of Academy programs, curriculum revision and other operational needs of the University among others.

Dr. Nelson further added that the Government of Liberia is playing her part in the regular payment of salaries and the provision to the free tuition program, stressing that the students of the University must play their part.

The University of Liberia President at the same time, disclosed that the 90 days deal line for payment of tuition and fees at the University is in fulfillment of a tuition policy.

The policy according to the UL president, it was approved by both the University faculty senate and the board of trustees of the University of Liberia.

Dr. Nelson added that the approved tuition policy provides for all students seeking to retain their admission at the University up to 90 days to complete biding and payment of tuition and fees other wise forfeit the admission status of the University of Liberia.
