Monrovia, Liberia- April 13, 2021: The Press Union of Liberia says it will this Wednesday, April 14, 2021 conduct a Special Edition of the Edward Wilmot Blyden Lecture Series in Monrovia.
A statement from the PUL States that the forum will be held at the iCampus on Carey Street, Sniper Hill, Monrovia at the hour of 2:30 P.M. under the topic: “Addressing Liberia’s Liquidity Challenge, Prospects, Challenges, and Way forward and the Printing of new family of Bank Notes.”
The Forum, the PUL further narrated that it will be addressed by Dr. Musa Dukuly, Deputy Governor for Economic Policy at the Central Bank of Liberia, Mr. Simeon Freeman, Political Leader, Movement for Progressive Change (MPC), and Mr. A. Lawrence W. Yealue, Country Representative, Accountability Lab, Liberia.
The forum is also intended to set an agenda which will effectively redirect the national political discourse to meaningful issues hitching on the country’s monetary approach and economic productivity, PUL States.
Meanwhile, PUL says it looks forward to a discourse which will honor the ideas of honoree Edward Wilmot Blyden who stood for societal betterment and social justice during his professional sojourn. As an Educator, Politician and a Journalist, Blyden strived to enlighten his compatriots on the complexities of the world.
The public is encouraged to attend as matters relevant to stronger conversations tied towards the analyzation, evaluation, necessity, contracts, and relevance to the country’s monetary sector will be looked at from an empirical perspective.
