Monrovia- January 29, 2021: A day after social media was flooded with photos of the newly installed street light poles’ knots taken out by an unscrupulous person, the Liberia National Police has vowed to arrest anyone caught in unscrewing knots and taking away any of the newly erected light poles beautifying the streets of Monrovia. ,

The LNP views such action as counterproductive to the country’s development agenda and will not hesitate to take appropriate actions in line with the rule of law.

Meanwhile the LNP has urged the public to report any unscrupulous act that undermines the current efforts of government in lightening of the streets of Monrovia and its environs.
