“This government does not care about you. Tomorrow, you must prove to them that the PEOPLE’S MANDATE is greater than a party’s mandate”, CPP Chairman Cummings

Monrovia, December 7, 2020: The chairman of the Collaborating Political Party, Alexander Cummings celebrates his birthday today. In his birthday message, chairman Cummings encourages citizens to vote against running party candidate. Here is his full message below:

Alexander Cummings CPP

Today is my birthday, and tomorrow is election day. All I want for my birthday is a VICTORY for our candidates tomorrow. A new Senate will hold the government accountable and force them to do the right things. This is why it is important that you come out in droves to VOTE.

We do not and can not trust this Elections Commission. This NEC has proven to be a partisan Commission and cannot be trusted. We have seen their level of incompetence and open partisanship. They were very delayed in providing the FRR/Final Registered voters Roll in violation of the NEC law, which says 30 days to elections. They have failed to implement the ruling of the Supreme Court on the Referendum, which necessitated the issuance of a new Gazette. They have refused to work with and listen to other political parties. This NEC works at the dictates of the President and the CDC party mandate.

This government does not care about you. Tomorrow, you must prove to them that the PEOPLE’S MANDATE is greater than a party’s mandate. You must show them that your votes will not be tampered with, and you will not allow these elections to be stolen from you.

As we finish up last-minute details with our polling and Precinct workers, completing logistics and set up of our war rooms, we know that VICTORY IS SURE! As a people, we will NEVER use the barrel of the gun again against each other, but we will use our ballots to punish those who suffer us. You must stand up to this CDC govt for being cruel and insensitive to your needs. You must punish them through your votes tomorrow.

Thank You!!! God Bless You, and God Bless Liberia.
