Monrovia-November 13, 2020: It seems like Representative Thomas Fallah senatorial bid will get a big step back if nothing is done to improve things at Royal Communication Incorporated( Owner of King’s FM, City FM and Clar TV) One of the most listened to media institutions by CDCIANS in Montsorrado county, as employees of King’s FM, the only station under the Royal Communication Incorporated that is functioning properly, decried of abandonment by Officials of the CDC led government.

The employees who have been disenchanted on air this week, about how the station is struggling under what they termed “as their own government”, said there have been lack of support from officials of government since the CDC government came to power to the radio station. The employees who voiced out their dissatisfaction on their various programs, by saying that the radio station doesn’t have any good equipment to work with and their transmitter is very old to transmit properly; while also saying officials of government don’t even honor their radio invitation or come around to thank them for their services in propagating the workings of the government to their audience which according to the employees, are majority cdcians.

Meanwhile, some presenters on King’s FM have vowed to stop talking about the workings of the government and Thomas Fallah senatorial bid if nothing is done to improve King’s FM.

Employees of Royal Communication Incorporated have long decried of abandonment by Officials of government since the CDC led government took over in 2018. It can be recalled early 2019, employees of the institutions protested for their salary and support for the stations. The employees who carried placard like: Bad labour to President radio station, we are dying; no support, Bad management killing the institution, we are paid LD 1500, Potter stop eating King fm money, among other issues.

King’s FM is one of the stations in Liberia with low coverage although most young people especially cdcians love to listen it. From our research, the station doesn’t reach Paynersville and other parts of Montsorrado county clearly.

A source with the radio told Monrovia Latest News that, all the equipments the station is operating with are all outdated equipments. Our source further narrated to us, that the transmitter, King’s FM is operating with was bought in 2004 and has damaged more than three different times but the technician of the station has managed to fix.

Royal Communication Incorporated is owned by President George Manneh Weah and has long help president Weah’s CDC party in propagating its views on national issues and mobilizing its bases during campaign.
