Amidst the ruling from the Supreme Court of Liberia, Orange Liberia says it will commence the increment in the prices of voice and data services as it awaits a new date from the Liberia Telecommunications Authority on the imposition of new surcharge on voice and data calls in the country.

In a release issued in Monrovia Tuesday, Orange Liberia said it had initially argued that increasing the surcharge on GSM Companies by the government will affect the prices of voice and data calls which in turn will have a negative effect on its customers as well as it operations in Liberia.

The company however stated that as it stands, it remains committed to its customers in the country, but at the same time promised to abide by government’s mandate.
