Two Young Liberian Comedians under the banner “Red House”, in the Buzzi Quarter Community in Monrovia, have called on the public especially prominent citizens in their community, humanitarian group, the Liberian government headed by President George M. Weah and other vibrant institutions in the country to support them achieve their goal as upcoming comedians for next generation of the Country.
Speaking Monday August 24, 2020, on flag day in Monrovia, Mr. Kelvin Hilter age 29 and Nathan Kenneh age 26, both of whom are residents of Buzzi Quarter Community, said they want to be one of West Africa best comedians.
They further said that their first production was done in 2019 to entertain the public, while at home and various places but according to them, could not realized anything from from their first production.
The young comedians said many people in Liberia only focus on political issue rather than promoting youth that have passion for their careers which could make impact on the Liberian economy in the future.
Meanwhile, one of the comedians, Kelvin Urged the government to promote Comedians in the Country because it helps to stress free people and bring peace in the nation. He also urged the CDC lead government to see reason of taking it very serious because he said it could help to grow the Liberian Economy to save the crafted budget of the country.
At the same time, he called on President Weah to focus on Comedian and the Musical industries so that Liberia will be on path with other nation around the world who are in Support of the Comedian society.
The two Young comedians said they are disappointed in the past regimes and the present 54 Legislature for not taking talented Liberian Comedians and Musicians serious which could place Liberia on the map of Africa compare to other nation around the world to boost the Liberian Economy.
