Monrovia – The Liberia CC request Churches to observe all regulations and health protocols issued by health authority.

Voices of prominent Churches leaders on messages of prevention against the virus will be played on radio stations.

The LCC will embarked on a three day fast and prayer from Wednesday-Friday, March 25-27, 2020 beginning from 6AM to 6PM and encourages all Christians across the country to offer prayers for the virus to be eradicated from Liberia.


The LCC in the strongest term condemns stigmatization against people confirm of the virus. The president of LCC Bishop Kortu K. Brown; has frowned on the issue of Stigmatization.

He said it will not help the fight against the deadly coronavirus but scare away people who might feel ill and wouldn’t avail themselves to health authority for test and possible treatment. He expressed hope that if concerted efforts are realized through the contribution of all coronavirus will be eradicated from Liberia.

A CORONA-VIRUS Ecumenical Emergency Response Task force committee was established, which will be responsible to engage in awareness and care for persons fall pray to the virus. Will have Coordination Meetings with health authority every week.
