Monrovia, Liberia, Nov. 26,2019: President George Manneh Weah has appointed Daddy Gibson as acting head of the National Bureau of Concession until a new director can be appointed.

On Sunday, former Director Gregory Coleman of the Bureau submitted his letter of resignation to the President and thanked him for allowing him to serve in the CDC government. But some inside sources have discoursed to us that, Hon. Coleman feels insecured working his two deputies that were reinstated by the president after they were suspended for assaulting him, Gregory Coleman.
In a letter posted on social media, the former director of the Bureau of Concession writes:
I was honored when asked by the president, His excellency, George M.Weah to serve as Director General of the National Bureau of Concessions..I was humbled and proud to be called on to serve my country .
As the Director General,I learnt so much. But the single most important thing I am taking away is that, the Liberian people are resilient and have the capacity to adjust and adapt to changes that will bring improvement in their lives.
Mr president, I hope I didn’t disappoint you in serving the Liberian people. Leadership is a privilege not a right. Thank you for trusting and believing in me to lead.
To my family, fellow Liberians and friends I bow my head with gratitude, thanking you all for the privilege given me to serve. My passion to serve comes from deep within……I hope to continue to avail myself whenever an opportunity knocks to serve you all again.
To my colleagues, I say thank you for serving along side with me and allowing me to lead you. As you all know, it was God who guided me, and with his grace my journey to this position was a direct result of hard work,commitment and dedication.I believe if you work hard and remain professionally committed to the “call of duty” for the Liberian people, you too will also succeed.

In a related development, the Executive Mansion has said that, president George Manneh Weah has accepted the resignation of former Director Gregory Coleman and appointed Daddy Gibson immediately as acting held.
Daddy Gibson is the current Deputy Director for Administration at the National Bureau of Concession (NBC) and one of the two deputies Directors that were suspended by president Weah for assaulting former NBC Director, Gregory Coleman at the entity office in sinkor.
