Monrovia-After the Cummings Youth Movement describes the Alternative National Congress Political leader, Alexander Cummings, as Self-seeking man, a man that is desperate for power and aa bor dictator, The ANC National Youth Congress has responded by saying the Allegations are mere chicanery, deception and trickery, from a hired financial mafias and economic mercenaries.

The ANC Youth Congress also describes the Cummings Youth Movement as a group of petit hustlers, who are agent provocateurs of failed and crumbling political parties, and by-products of mischievous politicians in an attempt to regain their lost relevance and materiality in the Liberian political spheres.

Fellow Partisans and Well-wishers of the Alternative National Congress, Members of the Fourth Estate, Ladies and Gentlemen, Fellow Liberians, One and All;

The Indomitable National Youth Congress of the ANC hereby condemns and describes as mere chicanery, deception and trickery, a statement emanating from a few individuals of political hired guns, financial mafias and economic mercenaries, purporting to be operating under the banner of the “Cummings Youth Movement”. In that statement, a few element of the afore mentioned group deceptively made the country to believe that they were denouncing support, membership or allegiance to the ANC and its Political Leader. These petit hustlers are agent provocateurs of failed and crumbling political parties, and by-products of mischievous politicians in an attempt to regain their lost relevance and materiality in the Liberian political spheres.

We want to categorically state that at no time in the history of our party has a group with such a name been vetted, recognized, accredited or certificated as an auxiliary under the National Youth Congress, or any of its structures. To be a youth auxiliary in the ANC, a group must be vetted and given accreditation letter by the Youth Congress’ Committee on Auxiliary Coordination and approved by the Chairman of the National Youth Congress of the Alternative National Congress. We are openly challenging and defying the so-called group to present a letter of accreditation signed by me, T. Benjamin Myers or any of my predecessors to substantiate their claim of legitimacy within the ANC.

We acknolwedge, however, that the spokesman of the group, Ben Believe Togba, and his band of malnurished pedestrians, have been seen around our party headquarters, begging for alms and begging to be accredited as an auxilliary.

These so-called “born here, die here” hustlers and their god fathers of warlord business men are bent on sowing seed of discord in the opposition community in their strive to reimpose another era of looting public resources against the Liberian populace for their personal benefits. The lame statement, which is part of a long list of backstage machinations, schemings and conspiracies by opponents of our party and political leader, is solely intended to besmear, defame and blacken the reputation of the mass-based Alternative National Congress so as to intentionally dampen, diminish and devitalize the glaring opportunity of Mr. Cummings winning the ensuing 2023 elections, and to subsequently bring about the much needed change our people have cried for since the founding of our beloved nation.

Additionally, it will interest you to note that the same group of misguided political scavengers were at one point in time a Brumskine Youth Movement (BYM); after failing to swindle the learned counselor, they immediately left and founded a group for Sen. Oscar Cooper. This time they called the group the Oscar Youth Movement (OYM); again, after failing to impress the senator to feed their empty bellies, the children flip-flopped to Hon. Emmanuel Nuquay and named that group Nuquay Conscious Youth Movement.

Fellow Liberians, the history of these boys unequivocally shows how they have been moving from one politician to another for the sole purpose of feasting and eating. They owe no loyalty to any group or people, it is only about who has the deepest pocket to to pay them that determines where they stand.

Ladies and gentlemen of the press, while we condemn the actions of these beasts of prey, we are not unmindful that there is a striking correlation between their utterrances and the public pronouncements recently made by leading political figures in the opposition community – all against the interest and survival of the ANC. However, The Indomitable National Youth Congress wants to call on the Liberian people to be aware of the planned syndacate to disrupt the progress we have made as oppositions to build a united front through the CPP- that should this happen, the ANC will not be at fault, but those who are overly possessive of the country’s leadership as though it is a family inheritance.

We want to reaffirm our commitment and loyalty to a collective opposition front as a party, hoping that some of our leaders will have a moment of reflexion to change their approach to the processes leading to the final decision.
