Monrovia- Newly appointed Director General designate of The Center for National Documents and Records Agency (CNDRA) , Emmanuel Lomax has admonished employees of the ARCHIVE center to have loyalty to the state over personal interests.

‘’Think about what you can do for the state rather than what your country can do for you,’’ Mr. Lomax said.
He made the comments Monday, October 21, 2019 when he honored an invite from the outgoing Director General, C. Neileh Daitouah to formally introduce him to senior staffs of the Agency and subsequently discuss official turning over ceremony, a press release from the CNDRA said.
Mr. Lomax, a former Lawmaker from Bong County, underscored the need for the transformation of the National Archives of Liberia.
‘’lobbying for international support is the best option we can use to transform the Agency.
The transformation of CNDRA requires innovative ideas and teamwork from employees.
‘’If we are to look for funding, I will depend on everyone knowledge’’ he says.
The Director General designate said ‘’with the cooperation from the general staff, I am hopeful we are going to transform the Center for National Documents and Records Agency’’.
The workaholic CNDRA Incoming Director General Emmanuel Lomax intoned that international funding is urgently needed to make the Agency more vibrant.
‘’We will have to look around for international funding with the quest of reforming the National Archives of Liberia.’’
Hon. Lomax at the same time admonished senior staffs not to see government as a money making institution rather a place of public service.
‘’You go into public service to assist the country and not to make profit. There is no money in government and I didn’t come here with the intention that this place is greasy’’ Hon. Emmanuel Lomax stated.
