Monrovia- The political leader of the Alternative National Congress, Alexander Cummings to open a media in Paynesville, Monrovia Latest News has reliably learned from an inside source.

According to our high profile media source, the media empire of the ANC political leader which will cover the entire country will include a radio and television stations and it will be situated in Paynesville, outside of Monrovia.

Our source has also informed us, that some of the best media giants in the country brains are behind the establishment of the ANC leader radio station and are doing everything to get the station register with the government.

“We hope to get the permit to operate and if we get it done before year the ends, we will start operation before 2020 mid term election”, our source said.

Most politicians in Africa especially Liberia see the mass media as the best way of persuading voters and the easiest way to launch a propaganda against their opponents for political goals.

It remains uncleared whether the government of Liberia will issue permit to the opposition leader to operate a radio and television stations in the country, after it shut down a radio highly supported by the oppositions for operating illegally. It can be recalled that Patrick Honnah, former deputy managing director of LBS and now owner of Punch Fm took the Liberian government to court for denying his station to operate in the country. Mr. Honnah who was one time critical of the presidency quest of president Weah has found it hard to see his station establish under president Weah.
