Monrovia, October 8,2019: The security committee of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) has released a set of guidelines for fans and vehicular movements as Liberia take on Chad in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Sports Complex in Paynesville on Wednesday at 4:00PM.
Addressing a joint special news conference at the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (Micat) on Tuesday, security committee members John Saah and Janjay Jacobs warned that only fans and vehicles will be allowed to enter the vicinity of the SKD.

According to the committee, The action points were agreed upon by the Security Council in conjunction with the Liberia National Police and security agencies to implement several measures for the safety of all persons going to witness the match.
The press conference was attended by LFA President Mustapha Raji, Sports Minister Zeogar Wilson, Deputy Sports Minister Andy Quamie and Liberia coach Peter Bulter

Agreed Actions
- S. D. Cooper Road #1 and #2 (Aminata and NP gas stations) will be used for all vehicles going to the SKD on October 9.
- ELWA junction will be used for VVIP and VIPs going to the game.
- All vehicles going to the match must have vehicle passes, verified by the security assigned before entering the field.
- All individuals coming from the ELWA community with around the field ticket will enter through The Right to Play gates.
- All individuals coming from the ELWA junction, Paynesville Red Light and Sinkor areas must go through the Chinese Hotel to the field.
- Occupants within their vehicles must purchase vehicle pass from the Ministry of Youth and Sports before going on the field.
- Tickets will be sold at major Orange stations in Monrovia and some booths at the SKD.
- Police, AFL and other security officers, who are not assigned, must desist from interfering with any matter relating to the game.
- Anyone caught violating will be arrested, detained and turned over to the agency responsible for action.
- The Emergency Response Unit (ERU) of the police will protect the entire external part of the SKD.
- The Police Support Unit (PSU) will provide 50 officers to be on a stand-by, prepared to respond to any eventuality and will come on the perimeters of the field 15 minutes prior to the end of game to provide security re-enforcement for anyone attempting to jump from the outside of the field.
- There will be 100 stewards. Fifty (50) will be assigned around the perimeter of the field and 50 will provide security at the gates.
- Absolutely no police will collect tickets. Only LFA, MYS and stewards will be charged with the responsibility to do so. Police will be assigned at various gates to make sure the right things are done.
- Traffic control officers will be deployed at the VVIP and VIPs entrance with the purpose of controlling the movement of vehicles and ensured vehicles are properly parked.
- Traffic and Patrol officers will be deployed at major intersections and junctions so as to control human and vehicular traffic.
- The perimeter of the field will be a “NO GO ZONE“ for people without access passes.
- Only journalists with accreditation are allowed on the perimeter of the field and will be posted at particular places.
