Monrovia-July 31,2019, As the National Election Commission announced over 75% of the polling places reported in the Montserrado County Senatorial by-election, Abraham Darius Dillon of the Liberty party, leads in NEC first provisional results with 53,270 votes amounting to 53.8% of the total votes tallied while the ruling CDC Candidate, Paulieta Wie has 36,531 at 36.9% of the total votes tallied so far.

In a related development, Abu Kamara, the candidate for the ruling CDC leads in Montserrado District#15 Representative By-election with 5,515 votes which is at 45.5%, and Telia Urey of the All Liberians party with 4,540 votes which amounted to 37.8%. 65 out of 94 polling places reported which constitutes to 69.15% of the polling places reported in District 15 so far. Meanwhile NEC to announce final results on Thursday, according to sources.

After the provisional results were release, Telia Urey said she will not accept any other result denying of the district 15 seat.
