Monrovia- Multiple Sources have revealed that Pres Weah was very disappointed with senators who came to beg him on Saturday to stop the Sable mining case which cllr. Sherman is on trial for.

Accroding to our sources, it was on the fateful evening of last Saturday July 6,2019, that a group of Senators with the exceptions of Nyonblee Kanga Lawrence,Oscar Cooper,Prince Johnson,Gleebo Brown and Daniel Nathan converged in a meeting planned allegedly organized by Sando Johnson and hosted at the Pro-tempt’s Residence in Duazon Sand Beach community.

The purpose of the meeting which began 4PM was to ask the President to safe their colleagues including Varney Sherman from disgrace and humiliation by using his power to discontinue the Sable Mining Case.

In response, the President who was present expressed serious disappointment in the Senators and said in simple terms” are you people not feeling for me? Look at my body, I have loose weight for the sake of my people. I did not start this case so let Sherman and others go through it . If they can prove their innocence then so be it.”

The President even accordingly use the occasion to frown at the showing Associate Justice Joseph Nagbe did in trial court on the day his former colleagues were testifying.
They also inquire about the War Crimes Court and he told them that it is now time that they go ask their people. If they want such tribunal ,he would sign it.
One of the bystanders who was outside the meeting center said at about 7:15 Cllr. Varney Sherman zoomed away in terrific speed leaving the rest of the attendees there; apparently because he was disappointed in the President’s response.
House Speaker Bhofal Chambers was present according to the informant but played no part in the discussion as he was just in prolonged phone conversation.
Following the meeting, I am told as the team was about to leave, President Weah sent 600USD and Sen. Saah Joseph added 300USD intended for the waiting crowd that got attracted to the influx of huge convoy comprising members of the executive and the legislature our sources told us.

Majority of the attendees at the meeting were those who said Weah was incompetent and knew nothing so they will not seize in their effort to prove that they were right despite pretending to give him support.
