Presidential Aide Kalasco to file a complain against BBC’S Paye-layleh for recording him unknowingly

Monrovia, Liberia- The special presidential aide to president George Weah, Mr. Sekou Kalasco Damaro has said that Bbc reporter Johnathan Paye-layleh recorded him unknowingly while stating that the basic principle of journalism was flouted by the BBC’s reporter earlier today.

Kalasco said Mr. Paye-layleh should have known better but was wrong about that.

“Paye-layleh called me – like many other journalist friends do – and engaged in what I thought was a private and social conversation about the apology I rendered regarding my post of the LOFA road project.

I had absolutely no clue he was recording. I was just informed by friends that they heard me on the BBC. This is shocking and disgraceful on the part of the reporter. The least Paye-layleh could have done was ask my permission for an interview. I would then have been afforded the opportunity to decide if I wanted one. But to force it upon me, when I was not prepared and use that for the world service radio is contemptuous.

This is really disgraceful and Didn’t expect such preposterous attitude from man of his kind.

I will be filing a formal complaint with the PUL and Paye-layleh’s bosses” the presidential aide concluded a in statement in response to his voice being air the BBC.
