Monrovia, Liberia – Liberia National Police Montserrado County Detachment female officers have honored and certificated police I G Patrick T. Sudue for empowering females officers in higher commands of the police.
Speaking on Wednesday at the Liberia National Police headquarters, head of the female officers said IG Sudue is best IG ever in the police history. Also speaking at the program, the gender Minister madam Williametta P. Saydee Tarr said she is excited to grace the occasion in which female officers gave flower to the deserving police Director Patrick Sudue who has work tirelessly.

She hope to see several governmental entity following the footsteps of the IG by uplifting the issue of gender equality so that they will see more of the celebration across government scope of operation for citizens to know that gender equity is ready taken serious in president George M. Weah government.
She also join women of Liberia to appreciate Director Sudue for his dedicatory work done within the police force since he took over as IG.
The United State government, Director for international of the US Embassy in Monrovia, Madam Basola Ojikutu said they as USA partner purpose of being in the country is to ensure security, peace in the environment of Liberia to protect its citizens across border.
She urged female officers to engage their function and strengthen in their trust and cooperation between the security sector and Liberian citizens and also protect human rights.

She noted that female officers have help to reduce violence against citizens in which they served as positive role model in the security sector which could encourage other female to join the police force in the future.
For his part IG Sudue noted that when he took over as director general, there were so many crime every where in the country. He said some Liberians were circulating rumors around that he changed other officers positions to bring problem in the police force.
IG Sudue said, he did that for the LNP to work effectively but not to witch hunting other officers at the time.
He applauds female officers for challenging their male counterpart to work effectively to reduce crime in the country.
