Monrovia, Liberia – after the leaked audio of suspended Bong county superintendent was circulated on social media, information minister posted on his official Facebook saying “Bong County will soon have a new superintendent. Since you want to be a lying gossiper, we will send you back to your puppetmaster”

Many people who follow the information minister post wonder, whether was the suspended Bong county superintendent lying or saying the true?

In the leaked audio in the possession of Monrovia latest news has what is said to be a damaging conversation between Bong County Superintendent Esther Walker and some senior officials of the Weah governments.

In the audio,Superintendent Walker was narrating her experience with Mayor Jefferson Koijee, Ministers Samuel Tweah and Nathaniel McGill to a fellow citizen when she was secretly recorded. The superintendent said she was at the verge of greeting President George Weah at his Jamaica Resort after he delivered his State of the Nation Address when she was intercepted by Ministers McGill and Tweah.

She quoted the two ministers as reportedly saying that Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor and Bong County Representative Marvin Cole are planning to assassinate President Weah.

She narrated in the audio, that in the presence of President Weah, Ministers Tweah and McGill said they are the ones running the country.

According to her, the two senior officials told her that Representative Marvin Cole will never see the president due to his assassinate plot against the Liberian leader.

She said President Weah accused traditional chief Zarzar Karwor of colluding with other chiefs of Bong County of bestowing an honor meant for him to the vice president.

In the audio, the local official explained that the senior government officials unveiled plan by VP Howard-Taylor of wanting to be the next president of Liberia.

On late Friday evening, President Weah Suspended the Bong County Superintendent.

In a release, the executive mansion said the President of Liberia, H. E. Dr. George M. Weah has suspended Bong County Superintendent, Esther Walker with immediate effect.

Madam Walker remains suspended pending investigation into allegations she made in a leaked audio which went viral on February 15, 2019.

She is henceforth advised to turnover all government properties in her possession. But the big question is, was the superintendent lying or saying the truth?
