The Liberian government through the national police lifted the ban on commercial Motorcycles from piling in some restricted areas. Some of the areas include from Red light to Freeport, from Red light to ELWA junction among other areas but the ban placed on commercial motorcycles riding on all principal streets in Monrovia still remain in force according to the LNP.
But our investigation has gathered, commercial motorcycles riding on Lynch street in central Monrovia regularly and even having a parking station with no police arrested them.
The commercial motorcycle regularly parked between Broad and Lynch streets to get passengers to go down Lynch street and other parts of Monrovia. We hope to ask the LNP Spokesman whether the Liberian national police is aware of this.
